When password protection is enabled, sections in OCU that display sensitive data will require a password to view. 

Protected sections: Settings, Statistics Dashboard & Revenue Display on the Homepage.

Enabling Password Protection

Follow these steps to set a Security Password for your OCU app:

  1. From the Home screen, click into the Settings tab.
  2. From Settings, click on Security.
  3. Enter your Password and then re-enter it once again in the Confirm Password field.
  4. Click the "Enable Password Protection" button.

You're done! Password protection is now enabled for your OCU app to prevent sensitive data from being viewed by anyone who doesn't have the password.

Once enabled, if a Staff Account accesses the OCU app on your store, they will be prompted to enter the password in order to gain access to the protected section:

Disabling Password Protection

Follow these steps to disable Password Protection:

  1. From the Home screen, click into the Settings tab.
  2. From Settings, click on Security.
  3. Enter the Password and then click the "Disable Password Protection" button.
