Summary

If you are a Shopify Plus merchant who has modified the checkout.liquid file to add checkout customization, the OCU Native app will not work on your store (initially).

If you'd like to use OCU Native, you have two options available currently:

  1. Revert the Shopify checkout to the latest version (i.e. remove all checkout customization added). You must reach your Shopify Merchant Success contact to have them do this for you, it can't be done on the merchant's side.
    Note: If you do decide to remove all checkout customization, be careful. There's no guarantee that you'll be able to get everything back to the way it was if you decide to enable customizations again.
  2. Wait until the next Shopify Checkout update. Shopify will work on adding support for customized checkouts in Q1 2021.

Why is this the case?

Shopify has not yet updated their APIs to work with Shopify Plus stores with customized checkouts (any change to the checkout.liquid file) for one click post-purchase offer functionality. Shopify will work on adding support for customized checkouts in Q1 2021.
