Overview

With Zipify Pages, there are 2 options available for adding a new Landing Page.

  1. Use one of our pre-built conversion tested page Templates constructed with page sections.

  2. Add a Blank Page and build it out with page sections.

*Notes:

  • If a pre-built Template is used, you can still edit the template in the page editor by adding or removing page sections and elements as needed.

  • A maximum of 20 unique products can be added to Buy Box sections per Landing Page (Shopify restriction).

Adding a Page using the "Pre-built Template" option

1. Hover over the "Pages" section in the left sidebar and select "Landing Pages"

2. Click on the "New Page" button:

3. You'll then be presented with the Page Templates library. Select the template you wish to use from our template library by clicking on it. Here you have the opportunity to Preview the template you select using the available Desktop, Tablet and Mobile preview options. You can also watch a Demo Video of the selected template (if available):

📝 The template title gives you an idea of what this type of page can be used for in your business. New templates will be added to our template library continuously so check the templates available regularly!

4. Once you find the Template you want to use, your Global Styles can be previewed on the template by clicking the "Preview Global Styles" toggle. If the toggle is left enabled, your global styles will automatically be applied when the page is created. If left disabled, the default template styles will be used instead:

5. Click the "Use Template" button in the top-right corner. The "New Page" popup will appear where you can enter the Page Name, add to a Group and add Tags.

  • Enter your page's name into the Page Name field (required). The selected page template's title will automatically be added to this field, but you can change the name to whatever name you'd like to use.

  • Choose a Group to add the page to if desired.

  • Add any page Tags that you would like the page to use (optional). Pre-defined page tags will be added depending on which page template you've selected. Tags are for internal organizational purposes for your pages only I.e. it does not apply this tag to the source code of the page.
To add additional tags (up to 10 per page), enter the tag name and then press the comma key on your keyboard and the tag will be added below the "Add Tags" field.
Below that will also show the 5 most recently used tags. Click on any of those tags to add them to the page.

6. Click the "Create" button to create the page. You will then be directed the the Page Builder to start customizing the page template for use in your business. We recommend modifying the page content within the page builder to fit your brand and aesthetic.

  • Edit the page by replacing the placeholder images/texts/videos/products with your own.

  • You can also add more, delete or rearrange sections and elements as needed or if desired.

Adding Multiple Page Templates at Once to a Group

If you've selected a page template from a group that has two or more pages in it, then you have the option of using one, more than one or all of the pages in the group.

In this case, after clicking the "Use Template" button the following "Create Group" popup will show so you can name the group and select the page template(s) you want included in the group. Once you've made your selection, click the "Create" button. The page(s) will be created and you will be taken to the page editor to start editing:

Once in the page editor, you can quickly switch between pages in the Group by using the available dropdown menu without having to leave the editor:

Adding a Page using the "Blank Page" option

1. Hover over the "Pages" section in the left sidebar and select "Landing Pages"

2. Click on the "New Page" button:

3. "Blank Page" is selected by default, so just click the "Create Blank Page" button in the top-right corner.

4. Enter the Page Name, select a Group and add Tags.

  • Enter the page name into the Page Name field (required).

  • Select a Group to add the page to if desired.

  • Add any page Tags that you would like the page to use (optional). To add tags (up to 10 per page), enter the tag name and then press the comma key on your keyboard and the tag will be added below the "Add Tags" field. Below that it will also show the 5 most recently used tags. Click on any of those tags to add them to the page.

5. Click the "Create" button to create the page. You will then be directed the Page Builder to start building out your page with Page Sections.

Save Landing Page as a Template

This time saving feature allows you to easily save any Landing Page(s) you've created as their own "Templates" in the Landing Pages template library, under the "My Templates" category.

📝 The Landing Pages template library can be accessed by going to Landing Pages > New Page:

To save any Landing Page as a new Template, follow the quick and easy steps below:

1. The "Save as a Template" action is located in the following two locations:

  • From the Landing Pages table:

  • From the Page Builder's Page Settings section located in the sidebar:

2. Clicking this action from either location will invoke the "Save Landing Page as a Template" popup.

3. Add the Template Name and any Tag(s) you want applied to the template for organizational purposes.

4. Click the Save button and your new Template will be saved and added to the "My Templates" category of the Landing Pages template library.

Working with the "My Templates" Category

Once your new Template is added to the "My Templates" category, you can:

  • Preview and Select it for any new Landing Pages you want to create.

  • Edit the Properties (Name/Tags) of the Template.

  • Delete the Template if it's not longer needed.

*Notes:

  • There is no limit to the number of Templates you can save in the "My Templates" category.

  • Page(s) which are created from your own Template remain active in the app, even if you delete the Template afterwards.

Adding a Link to your Landing Page in your store Navigation Menu(s)

If you'd like to start using a new ZP Landing Page on your store so visitors and customers can access it, you will need to edit an existing menu link or add a new one to your Navigation menu(s) at Online Store > Navigation within your Shopify admin:

📝: For Header navigation for your Theme header, the menu will be called "Main Menu". More details in this Shopify help article.

If you're using a Zipify Pages Header instead (If you are using a Zipify Page as your Homepage for example), you will need to link to your ZP Landing Pages using either the "Page" or the "URL" Destination option for menu links included in ZP Header sections:
