Overview
The Split Tests Dashboard gives you a centralized place to view, manage, and compare your split tests. From here, you can track performance, take action on active tests, and review past results. The Split Test History provides a record of each test, so you can see how results progressed over time.
Dashboard: View all your split tests with tools like date filters, funnel name search, and tabs for Active and Completed tests. Quickly start, pause, resume, select a winner (OCU Plus only), or jump into the funnel.
Variant Comparison: Expand any test to compare variant performance at a glance. Metrics include traffic distribution, product, discount, views, revenue, conversion rate, and revenue per visit. Multi-offer funnels are grouped and numbered in order.
History: See a timeline of each test’s iterations, with performance metrics for every version.
Requirements & Access
Available to all OCU users.
OCU Plus plan: Full access to both the Dashboard and History, with all actions enabled.
Unlimited plan: Dashboard access to your 5 most recent tests, giving you visibility into recent performance. Actions are disabled.
Accessing and Using the Dashboard
Split Tests Dashboard
From the left navigation menu, select Split Tests Dashboard
The Active tab loads by default. Switch to Completed to view finished or deleted tests.
Open Split Test History
Click on a split test name in the Dashboard to open its History page.
Use the Back control in the header to return to the Dashboard. The correct tab (Active or Completed) is automatically re-selected.

Dashboard Actions (Active Tab Only)
Paused: Open Funnel, Resume, Choose Winner
Running: Open Funnel, Pause, Choose Winner
Not Started: Open Funnel, Start
📝Dashboard actions are available for OCU Plus merchants only.
Some actions require confirmation. After confirming, a notification appears (e.g. “Split test started”, “Split test paused”, “Winner chosen”). Choosing a winner automatically moves the test to the Completed tab.
Using the History Page
Click a split test name on the Dashboard to open its History page. The History page gives you a complete record of how a split test has evolved over time. Each change creates a new iteration, which freezes the results of the previous setup and starts tracking fresh data for the new one. This ensures you can compare results with confidence and make data-driven decisions without guesswork.
Why Iterations Matter
Causality, not guesswork: When you adjust a discount, swap a product, or change traffic distribution, the system creates a new iteration. That way, you know exactly what caused a shift in results.
Clean comparisons: Each iteration starts at zero, so before-and-after performance isn’t muddied by older test data.
Reliable timelines: Iterations are ordered chronologically with durations, letting you connect results to real-world events like promotions, campaigns, or seasonal traffic.
Immutable records: Once finalized, iterations don’t change. This gives you a dependable audit trail for analysis and collaboration.
How Iterations Work
Configuration changes: Any edit — such as updating a discount, swapping a product, adjusting distribution, or resetting stats — finalizes the current iteration and starts a new one from zero.
Pause & Resume: Pausing creates an iteration where 100% of traffic is sent to the primary product. Resuming starts a new iteration and restores the prior distribution.
Choosing a winner: Finalizes the test by creating a winner iteration, highlighting the chosen variant at 100%, and moving the test to the Completed tab.
Global stats unaffected: Iterations only affect the split test record. Funnel-level or offer-card stats continue accumulating as usual.
Layout & Navigation
When you click on a split test name in the Dashboard, you’ll land on its History page:
Header
< Back to Dashboard control.
Funnel + placement name.
Total run time and current status.
Available actions when applicable (Open Funnel, Start, Pause/Resume, Choose Winner — OCU Plus only).
Records
Current iteration appears at the top, followed by a divider and previous iterations.
“Show More” loads history in sets of 10 records.
Data updates in near real time.
Each record includes: Distribution, Product, Discount, Views, Bought, Revenue, Conversion, Revenue per Visit, Duration, and Date of Change.
Visual cues help you spot differences:
Blue highlights indicate what changed between iterations.
Arrows show whether key metrics (Conversion, Revenue per Visit) increased or decreased compared to the prior record.
Notes and Changes Side Panel
Click the Notes icon in a record row to open the side panel.
Notes: Add or edit notes up to 800 characters. Click the Save button to save your changes. Use the Previous and Next arrows to navigate between visible records. Arrows are disabled if you have unsaved edits.
Changes: Displays read-only system text describing what triggered the iteration such as product swaps, discount updates, AI recommendation type changes, status changes, or statistics resets.
This side panel provides quick context for each iteration, combining your own notes with system-detected configuration changes for a complete view of why results shifted.
Practical Examples
Discount change: You adjust a 5% discount to 10% mid-test. The current record is finalized, a new iteration begins at zero, and performance is tracked under the 10% discount. Later, you can compare Conversion and Revenue/Visit between the two iterations to confirm lift.
Pause for a flash sale: You pause the test during a short-term promotion. A pause iteration records 100% traffic to the primary product. After the sale, resuming creates a new iteration, restoring the prior distribution. Your pre-sale and post-sale performance remain cleanly separated.
Tips
Change only one variable at a time for clearer attribution.
Allow each iteration to gather enough traffic before comparing results.
Use the Back control to quickly return to the Dashboard and act on your test.
Best Practices
Keep lists manageable: Use the default Last 90 days view, then apply search to narrow results further.
Expand for quick comparisons: Use the expand arrow to compare variant performance without leaving the page.
Choose winners promptly: Once a clear leader emerges, select the winner to lock in gains and move the test to Completed.
Expect new iterations: Editing a running test or resetting stats finalizes the current record and starts a new one from zero. This is expected and ensures a clean audit trail.
📝Funnel- or offer-level global stats are not affected by iteration resets.
FAQs

When you make configuration changes, the system finalizes the current iteration and starts a new one from zero to reflect the updated setup.

Troubleshooting
No results after filtering
Check the selected date range and confirm you’re on the right tab (Active vs Completed).
No results on History page
If a test is Not Started, the History page will show an empty state until data accrues.
A test is missing from the Dashboard
If a test was never started and then deleted, it isn’t tracked and won’t appear in the Dashboard.
