The Revenue tab shows orders and revenue from shoppers who found or visited your store through AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, and Microsoft Copilot.
Before you start
Revenue tracking needs read-only access to your orders. The first time you open the tab, ShopRank asks you to Enable revenue tracking. ShopRank uses this access to match orders to AI sources; if you decline, the tab stays locked until you enable it later.
How attribution works
For each order, ShopRank checks Shopify's customer journey data. If an AI assistant appears in the shopper's journey, the order counts as AI-attributed. Cancelled orders aren't counted.
When you first enable tracking, ShopRank imports AI-attributed orders from the last 60 days, then keeps counting new ones. The import can take a few minutes — you can leave the page while it runs, and the tab updates on its own when it's done. New orders may take a little longer to appear while Shopify finishes processing their journey data.
What you'll see
KPI tiles — AI-attributed revenue, orders, average order value, and the split between new and returning customers
Revenue over time — A daily trend you can switch between revenue and orders
Source leaderboard — AI assistants ranked by revenue or orders
Top products — Your best performers by AI-attributed revenue. Here, AOV is the average product revenue per AI-attributed order containing that product — it's based on line-item revenue, so it won't match the order-level totals above
Use the date picker to change the period (Today, Yesterday, or the last 7, 30, or 90 days). If your orders span several currencies, ShopRank reports the dominant one and leaves the rest out so totals aren't mixed.
Why the tab may be empty
Revenue tracking isn't enabled yet
No orders in the selected period came from a supported AI source
The 60-day import is still running, or Shopify is still processing recent journey data
The date range is too narrow — try a wider one
